You must vote in the state election if you are:

• 18 years old or older
• an Australian citizen.

A citizen is someone who has the rights and freedoms of the country where they live.

Before you can vote, you must enrol.

When you enrol, we put your name on a list of people who can vote.

This is called the electoral roll.
